Story

Forté Communications originated in 1975, creating film based content for music, theatre, dance as well as corporate clients. To date over 1600 productions have been completed from 30 second tv commercials, through music videos and tv series and feature films. In that time a rapidly changing technology base has been embraced, from 16mm and 35mm film, through broadcast analogue and digital video, to today's digital online streaming world.

Forté Live is the most recent business iteration, with full multi-camera live streaming capabilities to both public and private sites, full location sound and video recording and post-production. Forté has also built, and currently manages, a number of platforms where content can be housed and accessed by either select audiences or the general public, including Ozflix TV, Ozflix Live and ArchiTel TV. Coming soon is Ozflix Arts.

Forté Comms founder, Ron Brown, is a veteran award-winning film and television producer, who also directs, writes, shoots and edits. His personal love of music and performance has led to producing a vast array of award-winning musical films, including those for John Farnham (You're The Voice, Pressure Down, Touch of Paradise), Moving Pictures (What About Me?), Crowded House, Split Enz, Mondo Rock, Daddy Cool, Little River Band, Pseudo Echo, The Church, Tina Arena, JoJo Zep and The Falcons, The Sports, Mi-Sex, Little Heroes, Dynamic Hepnotics, Hunters & Collectors, The Models, Mark Gillespie, Steve Hoy, and many more.

In fact, over 120 music film clips have been created in all, as well as landmark production "The Complete Daddy Cool", comprising an 8-camera live broadcast (ABC TV), and a 90-minute documentary full history of the band (ABC-TV) plus a 6-hour double-DVD box-set of everything DC ever recorded, produced and performed. Audio production in partnership with Ernie Rose.

Brown has also produced three feature films, numerous successful international tv series, and has amassed over 180 million views for his content on both broadcast tv and online. Currently Brown is creating a new tv series based on Australia's jazz greats.

Forté Live is partnering with HaigelBagel Productions and with Empire Studios for audio services for live and studio based streaming events.
